"At first I was worried that I would miss something on Adobe Connect that wasn't on the Portal, but that was not the case. I liked being able to track my progress in the Portal and mark things as "complete". I also really liked how you can speed up the lecture videos."

Nazrul is very knowledgeable about the WRE subject. I like that he was patient and understanding about peoples learning. He was great about explaining topics to students that may have never had a certain course while in school. This is the most relevant course I have taken in regards to the Depth section of the Civil PE exam. Nazrul, the instructor, is the most thorough instructor I have ever had. Without having direct knowledge of what's coming up on the exam, he covers the majority of expected material on the NCEES Exam Guidelines. The variety of problems and quizzes fully prepares the students for this exam, even if the exam looks nothing like the coursework! I liked the level of detail in the subject material and the order the class covered each exam section. The CERM can be overwhelming with the amount of equations and subsequent derivations, but the EET prep course emphasized simplified equations/graphs to use so I was able to focus on quick and consistent ways to solve problems with only a handful of equations/graph. The organization was excellent. I have taken the exam before and felt overwhelmed with the amount of material O had to study. This class does a great job at really helping students focus on the relevant topics/problems. Dr. Nazrul is fantastic! He really cares about his students and he’s available to answer questions.
